Wells Fargo Blog:
Microsite Blog Pages UI Design
OVERVIEW
At Wells Fargo, I was tasked with creating a new digital space to showcase the company’s values, initiatives, and impact through compelling storytelling. The goal was to build the Wells Fargo Blog, which eventually evolved into the "Wells Fargo Stories" microsite. This platform serves as a hub for real stories about how Wells Fargo helps customers, supports communities, and invests in its people. The content spans news, human interest stories, and thought leadership, providing a humanized, transparent look at the company's priorities and culture.
CHALLENGE
Wells Fargo needed a microsite that could serve as a versatile platform to communicate its commitment to social responsibility, community impact, and corporate values. The challenge was twofold:
To establish trust and strengthen customer relationships by showcasing the human side of Wells Fargo, and
To rapidly design and launch the site within a strict two-week deadline.
Additionally, the design had to ensure easy navigation, seamless integration with the broader Wells Fargo ecosystem, and provide an engaging, aesthetically pleasing user experience.
SOLUTION
In just two weeks, I collaborated with cross-functional teams to design and implement the Wells Fargo Stories microsite. The design focused on clean, accessible navigation, using a modular layout to highlight various story categories. We prioritized a visually engaging interface with rich imagery, videos, and easy-to-read typography to create an emotional connection with users. To maintain brand consistency, I adhered to Wells Fargo's existing design language while introducing new elements that enhanced user engagement. The project was completed on time, meeting both business and customer needs, and has since evolved into a core storytelling platform for the company.
